Lament

Ok, so I’m low-profile…
a tortoise withdrawing
into a shell,
but this cynical mien
is my style;
If you don’t get it;
go to hell!

Amusing myself
with these limericks;
I chuckle it off;
and take a few risks.

Nope, I can’t afford to sell my advice;
(as ecstasy uncle suggests…)
Would YOU agree
to pay the price,
for what I sincerely profess?

Unless you dig my verse
served with humour
and a garnish of scorn.
Be kind enough
to post some prose
on how great it is
and I’ll move along…
(in the waiting list of validation;
Don't make me die of starvation!)
